Skylar had a pretend sleepover with her pal Logan. Our good friends Devon and Dusty were out celebrating their anniversary so we checked out Phil's cool comic encyclopedias, played with superheros, made beds in the floor, popped popcorn and watched Scooby Doo into the late ours of childhood. It was really fun and we hope to do it again soon.

Skylar is apparently a Daddy's girl now; one of many phases I am sure. She still loves her mommy, but prefers to let Daddy do everything for her. Hey, I guess I should just enjoy it while it lasts. She is very much into Sesame Street, and her favorite characters right now are Grover and Abby Cadabby. She recieved several characters for Christmas and we are planning to get her a few more for Valentines Day. She always sort of liked it, but I think what spawned the craze was our trip to Christmastown at Bush Gardens this year...which by the way was A-MA-ZING! It is definitely going to be a Cook/Markwith tradition (My Aunt and her family went as well). The shows were great, the food was amazing, and the decorations were beautiful. Skylar got to see owls, eagles, penguins, and pet the clydesdales. If you have a chance to check it out next year, I highly reccomend it.

We have been celebrating my 2nd 29th birthday all month. Yes, I said second because I have issues with turning 30, but if I have to I might as well do it in style. My husgand planned an awesome surprise party with my favorite band Yoko Says No. My awesome friends and family were there, even my childhood friend Tiffany drove in from Philly to be with me on this "wonderful" milestone. It really was one to remember. Phil coordinated my gift with everyone and started a charm bracelet with a beautiful charm from my beautiful daughter. Everyone else bought me a charm that was significant to our relationship and had something special engraved. It is truly something special that I will cherish. My birthday actually isn't until the 22nd, so this weekend I am headed back out for a Girls Night Out with Yoko, celebrating my Grandfather's birthday on Saturday with the family, and a birthday brunch on Sunday. Another busy weekend, but a lot of fun ahead of us. While I am out with the girls, the guys are all hanging with the kids:) I will leave you with a few Christmas pictures to enjoy until next time.
